Toolworks

Toolworks is an agency that provides tools and resources for people with disabilities in order to find jobs and independent living.

The Arc: San Francisco

The Arc: San Francisco is a program that assists adults with intellectual disabilities with advocacy, training, and independence services. They career internship opportunities as well as an education continuum.

Homebridge

Homebridge is a non-profit organization that provides home care assistance that makes it possible for people with severe disabilities to live independently.

Golden Gate Regional Center

The GGRC is a non-profit organization that was originally founded to help people with intellectual disabilities locate services for people with special needs as well as early intervention for infants and toddlers up to 36 months old.

The Unity Council

The Unity Council provides employment and career education services. Youths have the opportunity to gain work experience through Oakland’s Summer Youth Employment Program. Young people can also benefit from career coaching and paid job readiness training.

East Oakland Neighborhood Career Center

The East Oakland Neighborhood Career Center offers work experience opportunities as well as skills assessments, 1-1 job coaching, and self-directed job search resources, such as internet job search, and basic computer classes.

Independent Living Resource Center SF

Independent Living Resource Center SF s a disability rights advocacy and support organization whose mission is to ensure that people with disabilities are social and economic partners within their families and within a fully accessible community.
