Community members are the backbone to any student support system. Family members, friends of family, coaches, mentors, religious leaders and so many more assist parents and students while they navigate the Special Education world. Some reflective questions to keep in mind:
When you see a child with dis/abilities with their family in the community, what thoughts do you have about the child and their family?
What do you think these families need? What are their concerns?
